so the mid-years are over!

most of our papers were fairly easy compared to other jcs'

dont know whether that's a good or bad thing but lets hope i score =D

anyhow, it seems my school and MI is engaged in a tight competition to decide which is that slackest junior college in singapore

they have a one week break after their exams, we have a close to one week(4 days excluding weekends) break after ours

they may be in a little bit of a lead right now but i dare say we have chances of over coming them =O

ohh, i went back to my DEAREST alma mater last friday

met quite a few other alumni, seems we all decided to go back that day for our pretty pretty School Graduation Certificate

my first encounter when i went back was with my FAVOURITE mother-tongue teacher

but i think she wasn't really happy to see me, rather she seemed a bit dismayed =(

ok now i feel really grateful that i got posted to pjc =D

before we begin, read the title if you havent <__<

i just came back from appealing to cjc and it was close to a nightmare

the people there are nice i must say =O

they helped me find my way around the school to the photocopy room, dance club etc.

some even called their friends to find out where the places are!

so THANK YOU to those kind people =D

now pardon my french =O

but i met this one little asshole who fucked up my visit there

this guy who used to be from cat high thinks that just because im wearing his school uniform im pretending to be from his school or smth and he said "you're screwed up."

well, if you assume im thinking that wearing your school uniform will give me a higher chance of getting into cjc then you must have a butt in your head instead of a brain

i mean seriously

IM JUST WEARING IT BECAUSE IT LOOKS NICER COMPARED TO MY PREVIOUS SCHOOL UNIFORM DUMBASS

and if i knew the school i was representing had arrogant and ignorant fuckers like you, i would have gladly stuck with my own school uniform because EVEN IF IT LOOKS LIKE CRAP THE PEOPLE FROM AMKSS WILL NEVER LOOK DOWN ON OTHERS unlike you proud motherfucker =D

anyhow, luckily his friends who were also from cat high were with him and are much nicer if not i swore i would've fucking punched him even if i may get my ass kicked later =D

another thing, ever noticed in every school there must be at least one cold blooded teacher who has no sympathy for the students' situation and feelings at all?

is it because its their job to assume that every student is a delinquent or the "good cop" and "bad cop" thingy or somthing else?

and i am luck enough to meet two of those teachers in one day in pjc and cjc =D

you see, to get out of my current school so i can go to another school to appeal i have to get the "sign out" form from the general office

i have totally no problem with that cause i have my parent's contact number, its this foreign student who only has her mother here in singapore and she has no way to contact her mother for whatever reasons

so this teacher says he cannot let her sign out and i have to open my big mouth to say "JUST LET HER GO LAH!" <__<

ahhaha! of course i got my ass served after that but totally worth it =D

moving on, i arrived at cjc and needed to get some stuffs photocopied but the photocopy room was closed by the time i got there

i went to the general office to seek help and i met yet another teacher who apparently only knows how to say "we are not a photocopy shop." to everyone he meets

weird but true =O

so to those teachers PLEASE HAVE A HEART even a retarded one is fine =D

ohh and speaking of which, i want to thank this uncle in the cjc library who helped me to get my documents zapped. THANK YOU =O

today is suppose to be the last day of my orientation and im not there!

cant believe im missing out on the CAMPFIRE =(

and ALL the emo stuffs at the end of orientation like slideshows of pictures taken and things like that =O

its actually a pretty nice school!

ok uniform, nice campus and nice people =D

the only thing thats really bad about it is that its SUPER DUPER ASS FAR from my house!

i have to take a bus to the MRT station

take an MRT from Bishan to Choa Chu Kang

take an LRT from Choa Chu Kang to Phoenix station (4 stops i think)

then alight from the LRT and finally a 5 mins walk to the school =D

total journey is around 1hr plus plus

i must figure a way to cut time and cost <__<

anyhow, i still have to find time to go down to cj to appeal and also go down to the office to submit my time sheets =O

let's hope i survive at least till saturday huh =D

every year on this very occasion Chinese families will gather together for their reunion dinner

my family is no exception, however this is the only time we sit down together for dinner

which is good news for me cause this means i dont need to see my father's face while i eat my dinner for the rest of the year =D

so i guess i screwed up major time on combined humanities, C6, yes

and my sciences weren't any better physics A2 and chem B3

so now im stuck with either going to a not very good jc or going to Ngee Ann poly and taking either business or psychology courses

and then there's one last strand of hope of getting into cjc =D

we finally got to build the that we designed by ourselves xD

Huimeng and Lim's bot : SUMO =O

Brian and Ben's bot: SUCKER xD

this is the playing field

RED = Red Field
BLUE = Blue Field
GREEN = Starting point
ORANGE = Goal

Players are divided into two teams: RED and BLUE

Two representatives from each team will compete in a 2 minutes 2 on 2 match

Red team will start on the red side and similarly for the blue team

12 red, 12 blue and 1 yellow ball will be placed on the bridge

the main objective of the game is to get as many balls regardless colors to your field

balls in the green zone at the end of the game will not be counted

balls in the goal will have twice the value of points

10 points for each robot on the bridge at the end of the game

FUN RIGHT?! xD

the last match we played was a 5 on 5 =O

then my team trashed red team upside down xD

SAJC open hse visit was a total failure >=O MY SATURDAE MORNING CARTOONS!!! T.T

i went with yihui, anny, amanda and yilin. we walked ard the school campus for awhile, there wasnt anything interesting . we decided to queue for the legendary SA shoebag which the give out annually during their open hse BUD GUESS WHAT?? sec3s arent allowed to touch the holy shoebag until they are sec4s >=O i shld hav saed i skipped a grade in in secondary sch xD it was a pity though, i wanted to take their shoebag n fill it with all the little thingys tt they were giving out.

since the open hse was such a party popper we decided leave early and went to mac. i borrowed $2 from yihui to buy my DOUBLE CHEESE BURGER w/o PICKLES, i owe him like $17 nao bud hu could resist a DOUBLE CHEESE BURGER w/o PICKLES?? when we came out from mac there was this cat just sitting dere minding its own business den amanda was like, " HEY, there's a cat there!" den i was like, "ya, there's a cat there." den suddenly yilin screamed and ran VERI VERI FAST. one moment she was behind us then the other she was beside a tree 8m away from us O_O

and the best part of the dae arrives xD i finally went to hougang to get my games xD i realised how much i missed that place when i went dere, i used to take guitar lessons dere xD anw i got OKAMI, SCARFACE (my bro wanted it) and METAL SLUG 3D (cuz i was lacking in co-op games). i regretted getting metal slug after reading the review, shld hav gotten disgaea instead >=O and they didnt hav .hack// =( pls tag if you noe where to find .hack// vol 1-4

GAME REVIEWING TIME xD

OKAMI

its a little overrated but noe the less a nice game with its unique style of gameplay. You control a wolf who has the power of the celestial brush which allows you to sorta "pause" the game in battle and allow you to paint all over your enemies. of course you dont just anyhow draw all over the place, there are specific strokes like a straight stroke allows you to create a SLASH =O you get to learn 13 techniques as the game progress. The story line is pretty simple, you are fighting to make ancient japan a beautiful place filled with light and flowers. VOICE ACTING in the game is totally unnecessary and irritating. To be fair, its not exactly voice acting, its more like squeaky noises are produced everytime there is narration or dialogue between charaters. Bear in mind its an action RPG which means lots of squeaking.

SCARFACE

i didnt really play much of this game since my bro was the one who chose it. its has GTA style of gameplay except it feels weird when you direct your crosshair at your enemies and fire at them. you play as Tony Montana, the guy who is back with a vengeance. SCARFACE features RAGE mode, when you chracter fills up the BALLS meter, you enter a state which allows you to become invicible and heal health when you kill eneimies, yes BALLS meter.

METALSLUG 3D

i didnt get to try this game since it didnt work on anny's ps2. but judging from reviews from other gamers, i hav a feeling that it would suck. auto aiming, meaning that you can just mash the buttons away and complete the stage. i am hoping it will be like metal slug 2d + rachet series xD

MY RELFECTION

I have been asked to write this reflection by Mr Tan and Mr Ong to reflect on the things that I have done which have offended or insulted anybody. These things include talking back to teacher and not following the school rules by tucking out my shirt.

Firstly, tucking out the shirt. I did not intentionally break the school rules by letting my shirt out. No one would be stupid enough to pull out their shirt just to break the school rules and get into trouble. The shirt comes out when I do not tuck it properly so I guess it is my fault and I should tuck it properly next time. "Properly" defined in our principal's, Mr Tan, language would be "more IN less OUT"

Secondly, talking back to teachers. I suppose I tend to reply teachers in rude ways which indirectly offend them. The main reason might be because I also talk to my father in the same manner so it’s natural for me to answer back when a teacher talks to me about matters like discipline. I do not agree that shouting to intimidate in order to discipline should be encouraged. It may do the opposite of effect of what was intended. I will try to change my attitude to towards adults.

Lastly, I apologize if I have, in the past, present or future, indirectly or directly, offended or insulted anyone, especially adults, by means of speech and body language which includes facial expressions, hand gestures and body posture.

i was called to the back this morning for the, umm, "teacher student interaction" thing? o_O? den on the wae back ms yip ask me tuck in shirt, den i replied casually that tucking in veri warm while tucking in and who knew that this comment would be like the atom bomb that was exploded in the middle of the desert which held "more significance than expected".

AMATHS test wasnt as tough as i expect it to be >=O i even thought that it was an Emaths test. i guess there will be many ppl scoring high marks again xP the rest of the dae was pretty much boring, i slept through 2 periods of chem. cant blame me xP the weather was perfect and the lesson wasn't that interesting.

the onli thing that was fun was CME!! =O we havta complete a bingo sheet by finding classmates classified in the category. eg: can play volleyball veri well: yihui. anw the bingo sheet gave us the perfect reason to run ard the whole class and shouting out names. its was super chaotic and super duper fun xD i can play the piano loh, bud no one asked me to sign =(
